Description
The Obey River is managed by TVA as a put and take fishery. It rarely gets fish of much size and gets a good amount of pressure from the Nashville crowd.

9 foot 4,5,6 or 7 weight rods with matching reels and floating fly lines, unless throwing streamers, then use sinking fly lines

Getting There
From I-40, at exit 301 take TN -84 North to Hwy 52, near Celina turn right onto Hwy 53/Gainesboro Hwy and continue north/east through Celina on Hwy 53 which turns to Burkesville Hwy once leaving Celina then turn right onto Dale Hollow Dam Road Click here for local weather forcast.
