Sevierville Fly Fishing Manager: Kris Maurer
Originally from the Ozarks, Kris taught himself to fly fish in spring creeks and tail-waters of Missouri and Arkansas. After graduating from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Marketing he worked as a regional sales representative for a hardware manufacturer. Kris says he moved to Tennessee so he could pursue his dream of managing a fly shop. Being able to share his passion for fly fishing with others is the best part of his job. When not at work you can usually find him fly fishing on one of our East Tennessee streams or hiking in Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
