River Description Fort Patrick is somewhat off of the radar for most fly fishermen in Tennessee. It has a lot of obstacles to get by for the average fisherman. The first obstacles is that there are virtually no public access points. The second is there is no public boat ramp. Third, it is more of a lake than a river, so you have to either fish from shore or a boat. Fourth and finally TVA generally does a multiple pulse every two hours for two hours.
This is not a fishery for the beginner angler or someone that is not very familiar with our Tennessee tailwaters and how TVA generates.
