Fishing and River Description
The Elk River below Tim's Ford Dam is also managed as a put-and-take
fishery, however unlike the Duck River.  The Elk does have some hold
over Brown Trout.  It can unfortunately receive a good amount of
pressure on the weekends, by both anglers from the Nashville area and
from Alabama.

Please practice safe wading practices and be sure to check the
generation schedules before you go.
