Doug Moore
Originally from East Tennessee, Doug taught himself to fly
fish in the cold streams of the Great Smoky Mountains for
wild stream born Brook, Rainbow and Brown Trout.  During
his college days he spent a brief stint as a fly fishing guide
above the Tellico River in Tennessee.  After college he
began a career in banking only to find that life from inside
the "glass box" didn't fit.  To date, Doug has fished in
Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Kentucky,
Arkansas, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming as well as Florida and
Connecticut.
Clay Alders
Clay Aalders is a self-taught flyfisherman from Ohio.  He
grew up popping for Bass and Bluegill on his Uncle's farm
pond, but soon moved on to Steelheading on the tributaries
of Lake Erie.  After guiding for Steelhead in Pennsylvania
and Ohio while in Graduate School, Clay opted for the life of
a Trout-bum over a life in academia.  He and his wife Niki
moved to Idaho where he built Hyde Drift Boats, and later
became a guide on the South Fork of the Snake River.  Clay
and Niki moved to Knoxville in the fall of 2006.  Clay is
currently the owner/guide of
Smoky Mountain Gillies an
Orvis Endorsed Guide Service in Tennessee. To date Clay
has fished in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Idaho,
Montana, and Tennessee, as well as Kenya, Venezuela,
Alaska and Beleize.
